This is a brand new documentary telling the story of the seminal band – the first all-girl punk group…. In our opinion one of the most influential bands to come out of London in the 70s (when, you may know, there was some pretty stiff competition). It’s also a proper docco – Director William Badgely doesn’t patronise you with explanations – just shows you what happened. It premiered last year and has got some pretty amazing reviews so far.
The film’s only showing at selected cinemas across the country – so this might be your only chance to see it in Birmingham – and we’re delighted it’ll be on at the fabulous Mockingbird Theatre in Digbeth. It’s not just the movie either, the Chick Dig Jerks DJs will be playing before and after, so a right old treat of a night all round. Tickets are on sale here now… you know what to do.
