Angelo Starr & The Team are coming!

Get ready for a Northern Soul and Motown Party like no other! On the 1^st August 2015 the late great Motown and Northern Soul legend Edwin Starr’s original band are coming to The Night Owl for yet another night of fantastic music and atmosphere at the venue. The band will be hosted by Edwin’s brother Angelo Starr. This event will be the first public live show at the new venue and the excitement is building!

Angelo was previously Edwin’s band leader but has now taken over lead vocals and will be preforming all the Edwin Starr classics including ‘Stop On Sight’, ‘Eye To Eye Contact’ and ‘Time’, as well as dynamic performances of some great Motown & Soul covers, and even various current chart hits!

Edwin Starr’s original band The Team who backed Edwin on all his shows are still together, they are an eight piece band with a saxophone, keyboard, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion and female backing vocalists, making for truly sense tingling listening.
