St Paddy’s Day Fun At Shamrocks Festival This Sunday

Shamrocks Festival hits the Custard Factory in Digbeth

Birmingham is famous for its St Patrick’s Day Parade festivities and every year the party just keeps getting bigger and better! This year Heineken, Brothers Cider, Alfie Birds, Mocking Bird Theatre, City Of Colours, Glastonbrummy & Chicks Dig Jerks have all come together to bring you an alternative St Paddy’s Day party SHAMROCKS FESTIVAL!

Shamrocks Festival offers something for everyone with an array of entertainment, food, drink, live music, art, DJs and chill-out area for all the family! The festival takes place at The Custard Factory Poolside just minutes away from the parade route down Digbeth High Street.

Watch live music from local talent such as Andy Bennett (Ocean Colour Scene) and friends on the pool stage, whilst alternative tribute and covers bands including Oasis tribute Super-Onit, Rolling Stones tribute ‘Get Stoned’ and indie/punk covers group ‘Scooby’s Tosh’ grace the Glastonbrummy stage in The Oobleck. Hott Date DJs get the party started from 12 noon in Alfie Birds and spread into The Oobleck after the bands have finished.

There will be scrummy pizzas, burgers and all kinds of tasty treats available from Design My Night ‘Best All-In-One Venue’ award winners Alfie Birds and surrounding food stalls. City of Colours host live art with a St Paddy’s Day twist whilst Mockingbird Theatre and Bar offer a chill out area for those who need a breather from the festivities.
